Directory Standards and Terms of Service

To help prevent delays in having your membership approved and getting your website listed please review the following standards to make sure you, your submission, and your website will comply.

  • You must be an active residential real estate agent that is located and doing business in the United States or Canada and only one membership per agent is allowed.
  • Your the page that is submitted cannot show that it is "Under Construction" or "Coming Soon" nor can it be parked with a domain registrar.
  • The URL of the page you submit cannot redirect to another URL.
  • Your website must be available 24/7, 365 days per year, and contain substantively unique content.
  • Your website must work in all common web browsers (i.e. Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, Safari, etc.) and be written in the English language or have an English language version available.
  • All submissions must be made in English and adhere to the instructions listed on the various submission forms.

ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Before your membership will be approved and your website is listed a directory editor will review your submission and visit your website to ensure the above standards are being met.
  • We reserve the right to reject and/or edit submissions or later delete listings and/or profile pages that do not comply with the above standards and without notice at any time.
  • If you are applying to be a Premium Member:
    • You can submit your website's home page, an interior page, a page from a subdomain, blog, an individual page from a company website if you do not have your own website, or any page you want.
    • Within 5 business days after you have submitted your website and made your membership payment your website will be visited and if it is confirmed the above standards are being met your membership will be approved and your website listed within that 5 business day period.
    • If you are paying for your membership on a year-to-year basis should you decide not to renew in any year you will be downgraded to Associate Membership (see below) and your listings and profile page will remain in the directory uninterrupted.
  • If you are applying to be an Associate Member:
    • You must own the domain you are submitting and the page submitted must be your website's default home page. If you submit an interior page from your website or a page from a blog, subdomain, a page provided to you by your company, or any page other than your website's default home page your submission will be rejected.
    • Because of the number of agents that are leaving the business and wind up abandoning their websites to keep the directory current it is periodically updated to remove bad or dead links. To verify you are still an active agent, your website is online, and that you want your website to continue being listed an email will be sent that will include a link that will be unique to you which when clicked on will reconfirm the preceding. If this action is not taken it will be assumed you are no longer an active real estate agent or you no longer want to be listed and your listings and profile page will removed from the directory on the next update.
  • Should it become necessary these conditions and terms may be modified from time to time and you will be notified if any of these changes could affect your membership, listings, profile page, etc.
