The largest town on the island of Maui, Kahului, Hawaii, is home to a population of more than 20,000 on the north shore of central Maui off Kahului Bay. It is home to the largest airport on the island, Kahului Airport. The town is home to more residents than visitors, though accommodation and food services, construction and education are the largest industries. Maui Memorial Medical Center is in the next town over in Wailuku, and Maui Community College operates here.
