A world-famous resort town on the island of Oahu, Kahala, Hawaii, is an area less than five miles east of capital city Honolulu located alongside Kaimuki and Waialae. Kahala is home to The Kahala Hotel & Resort, which is famous for having hosted every U.S. president since Lyndon B. Johnson, as well as the Kahala Mandarin Oriental. The town has a long, beautiful hibiscus hedge that runs along Kealaolu Avenue and is home to some of the most expensive real estate in the county and in the whole state.
