Ewa Beach, Hawaii, is a census-designated place just south of Pearl Harbor. It is located on the southwestern part of the island of Oahu, and is home to around 15,000 residents in the city and county of Honolulu. The village lies about 10 miles from the capital city of Honolulu. It is an area populated with a large military presence, as it is bounded by Barbers Point Naval Air Station to the west, Hickman Air Force Base to the east, and Pearl Harbor is to the north, with Pacific Ocean to the south. There are five colleges and universities within 25 miles of Ewa Beach, including three community colleges and two four-year universities, and the village is also home to the NOAA Pacific Tsunami Warning Center and the Honolulu Geomagnetic Observatory.

The area is a golf lover's paradise, with about half a dozen golf courses, including Hawaii Prince Golf Club, New Ewa Beach Golf Club and Barbers Point Golf Course, within a few miles. Visitors and residents can also enjoy Ewa Beach Park along the ocean. Ewa Beach is home to a school system that includes James Campbell High School, Ilima Intermediate School, and six elementary schools: Pohakea, Ka'imiloa, Ewa Beach, Ewa, Holomua and Keone'ula elementaries.
