The city of Diamond Bar California is largely a residential area that is found on the freeway junction that forms between Pomona and Orange and is named after the diamond cattle branding iron. To the east of the city, there is Chino hills while to the south there is Brea and La Habra, all of which offer the local and alien the opportunity to experience distinct versions of life in California without breaking the bank.
This region has an interesting demographic with the largest population registered as Asian in the form of Chinese Americans, Indian Americans, Korean Americans and even Filipino Americans. Diamond bar was a ranch until it was taken over by Transamerica Corporation in 1956.
