Diamond Bar Facts, History, and Local Events

The city of Diamond Bar California is largely a residential area that is found on the freeway junction that forms between Pomona and Orange and is named after the diamond cattle branding iron. To the east of the city, there is Chino hills while to the south there is Brea and La Habra, all of which offer the local and alien the opportunity to experience distinct versions of life in California without breaking the bank.

This region has an interesting demographic with the largest population registered as Asian in the form of Chinese Americans, Indian Americans, Korean Americans and even Filipino Americans. Diamond bar was a ranch until it was taken over by Transamerica Corporation in 1956. When it comes to ancestry in the region, it is quite mixed and with 7% of the residents tracing their origins back to German ancestors while 5% trace their origin to Irish ancestors and so on.

With real estate, Diamond Park is truly an attractive location; and with numerous parks to show off, it is plain to see why the rich and famous like Snoop Dog call this place home. There are recreation spots spread throughout this area that holds countless festivals throughout the year with one of the most popular being the Birthday party. The residents of Diamond Bar never fully realized the dream of creating a one of kind planned community but it has continued to experience the growth and sophistication enjoyed by most of the cities in the greater Californian state.

For a city that was incorporated slightly over 2 decades ago, Diamond Bar has truly lived up to its expectations as a member of the popular sunshine state.
